Yesterday Baroness Jenkins implied that the poor are going hungry because they don’t know how to cook…. Now we all know that isn’t the case. We do know how to cook. Infact most of us are very skilled at making something from next to nothing and making what should be one meal for one person stretch to feed all the family. We all know how to eat cheaply. What we don’t always have is the resources to do so. We don’t always have electric and gas to cook with. Even more importantly we don’t have the food to cook with.
