A couple of AI researchers just published an article in which they revealed that Amazon secured a patent back in 2016 for a contraption that is basically a cage for a human worker. They patented a cage, where a worker climbs in and sits down on top of a sort of robotic trolley, which they would ride around Amazon warehouses to protect them from other robots. The Resident discusses.
