Laughter ridicules U.S. climate policy on the world stage

Imagine a drunken maniac driving a car full of people.  He’s speeding towards a cliff with only seconds remaining before plunging off into oblivion.  His passengers scream:  “Watch out, you idiot!  You’re going to kill us all!”  He angrily retorts:  “Shut up!  I’m driving this car, and I know better than you!”  The passengers look at each other in shock and laugh nervously to relieve the tension.
