Translated from Dutch NOS TV today:

Three suicide bombers have attacked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Libyan capital Tripoli. In addition to the three attackers two other people were killed. At least eighteen people were injured.

Presumably the terrorists were fighters of Islamic State [ISIS]. They started the attack with a car bomb, which went off right in front of the building and damaged cars and buildings. Then they opened fire on the building and two of them managed to penetrate.

They blew themselves up inside. The third man was shot by a security guard. Thick smoke hung above the government building.

Since the death of dictator Kadhafi in 2011, Libya is in a political chaos. In Tripoli there is fighting between militias and the weak official government and among militias themselves. The country is deeply divided: in the east there…
