‘Left-wing’ Mash Report axed by BBC to make way for ‘new comedy’. It won’t be funny!

The BBC has axed Nish Kumar satire show The Mash Report on the grounds that it was biased toward the political left. Director General ‘Tory Tim’ Davie at first said he would not make big changes to the corporation’s comedy output, saying that comedy had always “poked at authority”.
